Troubleshooting Guide
Dial up
If you are unable to connect to the internet check the following:
- Make sure all cables and wires are connected
- Check phone jack and phone to make sure they are working properly
- Check settings in computer
- Make sure you are using correct user name and password
ADSL
If the ADSL is not working properly check the following:
- Make sure all cables and wires are connected properly
- Make sure phone & jack is working properly
- Make sure modem is turned on and ADSL light is solid
- Turn modem off and back on. (DO NOT PUSH THE RESET BUTTON ON THE BACK AS THS WILL REMOVE ALL OF THE SETTINGS FROM YOUR MODEM)
- Turn your computer off and reboot
- Check computer settings
- Make sure peripheral equipment is working properly (this is important if you have a wireless router)
DSL
If the DSL is not working check the following:
- Make sure phone line & jack is working properly
- Check Settings in your computer.
