Troubleshooting Guide

Dial up
If you are unable to connect to the internet check the following:

  1. Make sure all cables and wires are connected
  2. Check phone jack and phone to make sure they are working properly
  3. Check settings in computer
  4. Make sure you are using correct user name and password

ADSL
If the ADSL is not working properly check the following:

  1. Make sure all cables and wires are connected properly
  2. Make sure phone & jack  is working properly
  3. Make sure modem is turned on and ADSL light is solid
  4. Turn modem off and back on. (DO NOT PUSH THE RESET BUTTON ON THE BACK AS THS WILL REMOVE ALL OF THE SETTINGS FROM YOUR MODEM)
  5. Turn your computer off and reboot
  6. Check computer settings
  7. Make sure peripheral equipment is working properly (this is important if you have a wireless router)

DSL
If the DSL is not working check the following:

  1. Make sure phone line & jack  is working properly
  2. Check Settings in your computer.
